One of our favorite places to visit is Breckenridge, CO. They’re the birthplace of our favorite Colorado beer (Breckenridge Brewery), and home to a new restaurant owned by some good folks we know. It’s a beautiful area any time of year, but we usually head up in the summer to get away from the heat and enjoy the clean mountain air.

We haven’t been up in two years. Life has gotten too busy. We miss it a lot, and are looking forward to whenever we are able to get up there next. We can’t wait to check out the new restaurant, and do some shopping. My other bucket-list Breckenridge item is to stay at Beaver Run resort.

My family is really hoping to take advantage of this to have a fun getaway. My poor husband won’t see our daughter for 6 weeks this summer as she will be going out of town with her grandma for almost a month and then out of town with me for a week and a half. We’d love to have the time together all three of us as a family with fun things to do and memories to make after so much time apart!
